The Dead Tell Stories

The stars have aligned once more, and the hour of the dead have once again cometh. The dead have risen from their lifeless corpses to once again thread among the living. Yes, the time has come for the recollection of the past. Ancestor of old, have come to live once again and to see how the world has progressed from the time of their death. With this event, multiple theories of the afterlife have been proven or disproven. Reincarnation has been proven to be a legitimate process of life where multiple ancestors have been missing from the family’s timeline. The dead tell stories of the world beyond as they reimburse themselves in a luxury unknown to men. This annual phenomenon has become a favourite for all humans, from historians to family members. However, there is one slight loophole to this phenomenon, the dead were in a dream-like state before they rose from the dead. Souls were reported to have been dreary or fatigued when interviewed the second they have risen from the dead. Somehow did not seem to take notice of the reporters. It was strangely human. It was something that we had believed to be gone once you had passed on. The recently deceased wouldn’t show up to the event either. Many believe that the recent dead, are stuck in purgatory until they have finally been granted the permission to be a free-willed spirit. The souls have said that, they could interact with those recently dead. Many questions have risen ever since this strange phenomenon, and many wish to know more of the past.
