The Sleeping Giant

Huddled humbly in slumber,

A sleeping giant dreams solemnly.

His breath mutters a mystic voice,

Shrouding himself in knowledge.

The giant wakes to a soothing sound

And mimics it with a dance.

Suddenly, the giant stops and looks.

Voices of people cloud his mind.

He is nervous and frightened

Of a past he cannot escape.

The giant seeks refuge in his home,

But it will not last forever.

The light shall soon shine,

In his world of darkness

And he must face a truth,

of which he must accept.

The giant rests once more,

Waiting for a chance

To express his might.
