The Doctor

The thundering rains

Envision the day,

The hospitals croak

At the sight of disaster.

Patients swarm in,

And they do not leave.

The doctors save lives,

And it is their ambition,

But the dead can’t live,

Though they try.

Surgeons and doctors alike,

Feeble and powerless.

Just like their patients,

They are only human.
