The sun rises from its slumber,

Filling up the world with light.

The adults trudge to their work,

Dreading every step they take.

The children groan,

Marching onto their schools.

The famous yawn,

Bored from their fame.

The homeless drone on,

Restless from their slumber.

Dusk settles on them,

Reminding them of their deeds.

They all wonder,

Would their days get better?
