He prepared for the day,

Where he would become a lover,

He dressed up glamorously,

And declared his passion.

He met her blindly,

And was left in hover.

She didn’t speak and didn’t hear,

She would only comment,

But not commend.

The date was over, and he felt empty,

There was no hole filled, and no hole left.

Maybe one day, he could find one again.
